The game is pretty fun and I like that there are a variety of challenges. The character designs and stickers are the highlight for me. But there's way too many micro-transactions. I don't find it feasible to devote myself to the amount of events and challenges that are there to complete per day unless you devote large chunks of time to it. Feels like it's aimed for a younger audience who could get their parents to whale for them, which seems predatory.

A fun mobile experience. For what Sonic Rumble is, it's a pretty fun game. It runs surprisingly well on a phone, the game play loop is fun, and the skins, cosmetics, and art style is adorable. Unfortunately, there are a handful of problems, the skins are VERY expensive, the power ups can feel like a pay to win mechanic, and the process of unlocking content is slow. I believe the single worst mechanic in this game is the ring limit. It stops me from playing the game more.

After waiting out a long delay, the game was released in this current state that makes it look like it's still in the beta stage. Frames drop a ridiculous amount at the start of games, missing a ton of responsive inputs, the characters move like they're on ice, and the game itself gets extremely repetitive real fast with the same 3 types of games in a row. It's a neat idea, but it needed more time in the development department.
