Fun story. It draws on the themes of P5, and tries to build on it. First chapter was an introduction, fairly standard. The P5 crossover story was cool (I think that one is limited but it always runs for new players). There's a twist being setup in the second chapter and I'm excited to see what it is. It's certainly solid for free to play. Combat feels challenging and rewarding. I was able to get a couple of the limited characters too, (with a bit of luck), so that's a bonus.

The gameplay isn't bad, but it's clear that they've decided to focus on finding more ways to get people to spend rather than creating an enjoyable experience. Especially when we have previous versions to compare to, the global version is way stingier, consistently giving less rewards and increasing prices. Unless SEGA puts out a statement to at least commit to reward parity with the Chinese server, I can't recommend playing this game. At the very least, definitely don't spend on it.

Riddled with problems in its current state. Experiencing performance issues on a high end device that's not even a year old is something that shouldn't be happening (broken animations in exploration,fps issues, sluggish/unresponsive menus, etc.). Would be somewhat acceptable if the game was at least f2p friendly but it's not. No soft pity, overpriced bundles even by gacha standards, cutting the already poor rewards from CN server, moving up banners with no compensation. Dont waste time or money
