Although i loved the previous books by CJ Archer, i had to force myself to finish this one, the Character Harmony was extremely annoying, and the cousins had little substance, I started trying to read the 2nd book, but unfortunately the character Harmony appeared again, and I had to stop before the first chapter concluded... unfortunately I purchased all the rest of the so far released series having enjoyed all CJ's other series so far, but ended cancelling my pre-purchase of the Dec 2025

Its a turn of the century murder mystery with our female main character trying to figure out who murdered one of the guest of the hotel she's just moved into, all while befriending some of the staff This is the second book by c. J. Archer. I enjoyed this book so much and just like the first series of her's I read im excited to read the additional books in the series.

On page 65 starting with (‘It seems I’m at a disadvantage.’ I went on.) until the end of the text (Frank continued with his forced smile as I passed him and entered the hotel.) must be written by Coco cat. To much ‘sigh’ and ‘gaze’ distorting the content. Anyway I enjoyed the book from the beginning to the finish pretending Armitage didn’t say any bloody word.
