Serving a minor prison sentence isn’t the usual training for becoming a private investigator. But Hannah’s new mentor Gloria Starr, a statuesque trans woman, convinces Hannah to turn her obsession with justice into a business.

Hannah’s first case is simple. A routine check on a client’s spouse, a judge whose wife is worried about him. Gloria suspects he might be a member of the mysterious “Friday Night Club”. Everything changes when Hannah sees her father entering the club.
