Margaret Beaufort is not the easiest character to like, I found her childhood most interesting. The brutal honesty in descriptions of life during this period were much appreciated and, fantasy aside, remind me of just how truly horrible it could have been to be alive in these times, the grandeur of castles due to bloody war, prisons in themselves.. excessive jewels, riches and materials being due to untapped natural resources, much depleted today.

Fast pace though in the beginning didn't like Margaret .. The end leaves you wondering what happened... Would have been nice if one mentioned the sequel to this.

Philippa, you should give the proper ending for her.... like what happened between her and Jasper, between her and her son, and between her and England... T.T I read the white queen first, but honestly, i prefer the red queen overall.. it is more to the agony of being a woman during those periods.. it is more real to me.. her depression and frustation to survive shown beautifully.. would u make a story about Elizabeth of York..? Edward VII's wife..
