Acerca deste livro eletrónico

By the bestselling, National Book Award-winning author of THE FRIEND

The story of a woman's search for self-knowledge, for understanding of others, and for an answer to the imperative question: How should she live?

Nona longs for a life of purpose, order and dignity. But despite all her aspirations, this ideal constantly eludes her. At an artists' retreat, where she plans to finally get down to writing a book, she meets a man who she intuitively mistrusts - and yet begins an intense affair with him. Despite being happily married, she then flies across the country to pursue him, and this sets of a series of events which will force her to examine everything she believed she wanted.

Never before published in the UK, Naked Sleeper is about the inescapable and sometimes unendurable complexities of love and family.
