A great Montgomery Ink Legacy book. It keeps you gripped from the very start where unexpectedly Mercy gets stranded at the altar, and simultaneously her sister collapses with a terminal illness. Lexington and Mercy have been friends since childhood, but he was also the Best Man at her almost wedding and she wants no reminder of that awful time in her life. However, their friendship hasn't died, just been dormant, and as it comes back to life, there are a whole heap of feelings that are awakened.
