I kept thinking that this book would turn into some kind of commentary on domestic violence, but no. Surprised and appalled that this is marketed as a romance! The male protagonist is controlling, violent and obsessive. Red flags everywhere. Found the entire thing a very uncomfortable read. Not at all romantic to read about a woman being manipulated and abused.

I like this book. Won't say I love it, because although it was interesting to read, it was also disturbing, in a way. Like how manipulative Travis was and how Abby had no boundarys. Like does she hate herself that much to settle for someone like Travis.🤦♀️

The ending was terrible. Plus you made the guy tough, then he turned in a wimp once they started dating, whats up with that?
