Celebrate Green Game Jam award recipients

Since 2020, developers and studios have come together for Green Game Jam, a celebration of environmentally friendly activations for gamers.

Organized by Playing for the Planet, an initiative from the United Nations Environment Programme, you can spread love for Earth by doing what you love–gaming.

Hay Day was all the buzz with their bee-themed Global Help Event. You helped our pollinating pals revive trees and bushes, earning adorable decorations along the way.

Things got wild in June's Journey as players accompanied Mr. Talbot on a trek through the savannah in the Nature Trials Challenge. Using your keen detective skills to collect animal footprints, you helped raise support for wildlife habitat protection and reforestation efforts in East Africa.

In Longleaf Valley, players joined the Sea Shepherd crew in the fight against deadly ghost nets. By playing and donating with the season pass, you helped protect ocean life from this tangled terror.

Adventure met conservation in Orna's Naturblight event, where players journey across continents to protect endangered species. With every quest completed, you learned how to make a difference for wildlife in need.

In Honor of Kings, players fought for the planet across two events: Protect Nature, Protect All Life and Match for Green. Together, you raised support for four real-world conservation projects while also learning the importance of healing humanity's connection with the environment.
