I've been looking at their curtains automation for some time and decided to try the bluetooth temperature meter without a hub before splurging. This app has made me decide to look elsewhere. I recently changed phone, the meter connect to my new phone but they won’t show the current temperature, just historical data that loads slowly. Also, your historical data isn’t stored in the cloud AND you can’t transfer it to your new phone, so you lose it when you change.

UPDATE- Thank you for your reply. If you had read the review I've left, you would have seen that I have turned off notifications. In both the app and my phone's settings. I still get repeated advert notifications and when I open the app. I have turned off notifications for this app multiple times, I'm assuming when the app updates it turns them back on. I do not want adverts on my phone, if you continue to force adverts on my device, then your tiny robots can go in the bin

We are very sorry for causing you a bad experience. We sincerely apologize for this. Regarding the promotion news notifications, you can disable them by going to the profile section in the app, then navigating to Preferences > App Notifications > Disable Promotion News.

I have a lot of Switchbot devices, including curtain openers, environmental meters and wallet finders. They are great and easy to use with the app. On the other hand trying to shop on the app is the biggest nightmare ever and makes me wonder how they ever sell anything. The UK doesn't exist, my points disappear and just trying to work out how to use a discount code is impossible. I avoid Amazon and am losing the will to buy more devices because it makes it impossible.
