Not great at all. The app is too basic and would really benefit from the add friend features that are available on the desktop site. It's so frustrating trying to add people on the app as you have to switch to the desktop site. I don't want to add people from my contacts on my phone so which is all the app offers. Make the app more like the desktop site!! Trust me that's what we want!! We use phones more than we do computers these days!!!

Ok, this is an app I should love. I've used it to rate books for over 5 years; 249 books, so far. But the discovery features really are garbage. Best Books Ever list 75,000 books, useless. Books to read before you die, 31,000! That's about 2,000 a year rest of my life! Top Picks For You... laughable, it's not used a single book I've reviewed to come up with selections. Sort it out Goodreads, we deserve more in 2025.

I've used this app for years to keep track of books I've read, books I want to read & to also leave reviews for ARCs, Tours, etc but for the past 10 months I've been unable to add new friends. I emailed support months ago & was advised I would be added to the ticket as they knew there was an issue & my account would get sorted with the others, but there's been updates on the app since & it still won't let me add new friends. I've tried clearing cache, uninstalling, reinstalling. Nothing works.
