Having signed up as a seller via the app, I had no idea there is a mailbox for messages specifically from Etsy. So lucky me, got caught out by a scam and lost £400, essentially crippingly my newly started business. Annoyingly, had I signed up on the laptop, this wouldn't have happened. I don't think it's right that there are safety functions on the desktop site that are not replicated in the app. It's extremely annoying and a huge oversight.

It used to have basic functionality but over the past week it's removed the feature to publish digital listings. The error reads "Oh noes! This doesn't work yet."... Sellers get charged so much from fees that the company made just under $2bn in profit, yet they can't get an app to work to an acceptable standard. Things that need to be implemented on the app: Marking messages as spam. Paying fees. Paying for shipping labels. Copying + publishing digital listings. The apps pointless atm.

The original app was far easier to navigate and just all round better! I was able see my orders day to day, know what was being ordered right away but the order notification has now changed from a photo and listing title of what was ordered to my shop name, the amount paid and a photo of the customer... WHY? They have changed something that wasn't broken and you know how the saying goes!! Very disappointed 😔
