This app worked perfectly well for my local Hikvision NVR. When used on my Android tablet it had worked great. Since this last update it continually asks for the "Video and Picture Encrypted Password", periodically putting that on the screen, not always with the keyboard to use. I go to the NVR undernetworking and get the correct access password and type it in. I then confirm that. All seems well. Then a little while later it will ask for it again, even though I typed correct password.

It's generally a good app. It doesn't provide any alerts that one can set. A camera covering your front door for example. Accessing recordings is a tedious affair. Especially if you're trying to pinpoint an event. When you play back it always reverts to Midnight the previous night and if you have multiple cameras it and you want to view an event at the same time on a different camera it still, goes to the previous Midnight. Also when you zoom in loses quality.

the app is quite basic, and the videos that it picks often are due to an insect flying in front of the camera. The video summary does not show a summary image of the videos, which is annoying as you only have the length of the video as a guide to see if it was just a bug or something else. The software could be greatly improved, but it works well, and when we got robbed, we had the face of the robber in every angle for the police to use as evidence.
