Setting parent controls. When you set the allowed times on the router web interface. white blocks allow and dark blocks deny. Its easier to set the schedule on the web interface rather the mobile app. But if you do it that way the mobile app will invert your selection. So now my kids can use devices through the night. But not during the day. It takes tooo long to setup on the mobile app. you have to tick each hour for each device.

Nice gimmick but you might as well use the mobile browser and log directly into the router. Many options are unavailable, like the Wi-Fi schedule. Easier and faster than the browser but limited functionality. If you use all the extra router apps I guess it would be OK. In my case it didn't do much so uninstalled. Not sure what the notification do. Only use, is to access the router fast and see who is connected to it.

Nice UI, but there are SEVERAL issues that makes me regret buying an Asus router. The app doesn't always sync up with the router which is very annoying. Also, it would be useful if there was some sort of 'bypass' code that allowed verified devices connect to a router regardless of security settings, perhaps verified by MFA. The worst thing I've seen in both the app and web browser login is that passwords are not hidden by default! This is a huge security issue!
