Bombarded with ads, downloading doesn't allow you to take the MP3 and play on other devices, never mind I found the track I was looking for on YouTube and used a YouTube downloader, so can now play it on other devices, have uninstalled Boomplay as I don't need, or want it, clogging up my device space, it was a disappointment and a let down, ok if you only want to listen to music on your phone, but I like to play music on my computer, with my high quality speakers and an audio visualizer

Also note that songs downloaded on Boomplay are not in MP3 formats as this was done to protect artists copyright and curb piracy. -DA

Since the last update, almost all of the songs in my playlist disappeared!!! I had over a 100 songs and now there is only about 8. and whenever I search up the old songs I had in other to add them back in my playlist it does not show up in the search results. and all the new songs I tried searching up did not show up either!!! even though they are trending songs and cab easily be found on other music apps. I'm very disappointed in Boomplay, uninstalling.

it was a fantastic app that worked surprisingly well for a good while. I had downloaded quite a lot of songs too. Until one day, for some reason, the app didn't let me adjust the audio. I couldn't lower nor raise the volume. I deleted and redownloaded, only for hundreds of downloaded songs to be gone. This is atrocious and I refuse to sit through hours of ads just to get some of the songs back from memory

Dear user, We regret to inform you that deleting an app will also remove its cached data. In Boomplay, your downloads are stored as cached data and are closely associated with your account. If you log out, your downloads will still be available once you log back in. However, if you uninstall the app, you will need to re-download your content again.
