GUBBINS

The game is amazing, I love the concept and it's really fun. However, sometimes I'll put a word down and it will recognise a form of the word but not another form. For example, "reselect" is recognised but "reselects" is not recognised. Apart from that, I love this game and the daily games have become part of my daily routine.

Having a great time. Some words just not in the dictionary ("undusted" or "calcites" have been the most annoying so far...!) But otherwise loving the art style. Most expensive app purchase I have ever made in my life. A lot of full board games don't cost this much, but I see it a little bit as charity, and supporting indie, so I mind less. Those bad gubbins. Boy they really boil my wee! 😂

I just couldn't find the fun in this game, personally. Tiles were fiddly to place and the mechanics of how things work are poorly explained. Once I worked things out, it still didn't feel particularly enjoyable. The titular "gubbins" would appear and I found myself not caring. I could be missing something, but I bounced off this game pretty quickly.
