Disappointing. The entire design is really well done. However, I've never seen a game like this with such an unbalanced early game. The cooking wait times for entry-level recipes are ATROCIOUS. I just downloaded the game, and now I immediately have to wait 5 to 10 minutes for everything? For recipes AND ingredients? I'm genuinely shocked by such a brutal setup. If this intro was more reasonably balanced, I'm sure I would have gotten super addicted. As is, it's an easy choice to drop and delete.

Hi Chef, the cooking times in Star Chef 2 are balanced with various factors in mind, but there are ways to speed things up. Try using Boosters, cooking helps, and team chat dish requests, or upgrade appliances to reduce wait times. These features can help you progress smoothly and enjoy the game more!

When I first downloaded this game I never really gave it a chance. Let me tell you when I did and figured out things I'm now on it all the time. Forgotten about others games I have on my phone lol as this one so enjoyable and passes the day when stuck in as im an unwell lady and can't get out much. There so much besides cooking as you level up to do which is great as well. Also you can earn things easy enough so if you don't want to buy items you don't have to. Love love I could go on.

The latest update forced boosters out and now you can only win them or buy passes. The ads are sporadic also, they used to be optional, now the game is littered with them. It was a lovely way to wind down, now, it's impossible and though support previously were super helpful, they're now only hiding behind "it's what people wanted" Looking over various platforms, what people wanted was more tables and more ways to boost the gameplay without having to buy passes.
