8 Ball Pool

This game is super luck based. Even on more skill based game modes (i.e, having to call which pot you will shoot in) luck is still a major factor at play, to the point it becomes frustrating. There is a layer of skill, yes, but there is no fun to be had, when you are just losing your tokens consistently, because you can't even have a single shot yourself, or your balls positions are absolutely awful, giving you a 0% chance of winning immediately after break.

I genuinely believe this has been one of the best free pool games for almost 20 years. And while the game itself is excellent, the menu UI has become so bloated with incessant pop-up ads, video ads, and battle pass notifications that it's borderline unplayable. I'm plagued with constant freezes, crashes and unresponsive menus. It's quite literally pop-up followed by immediate pop-up multiple times in a row until the game freezes. F2P games require revenue, but this level of greed is absurd.

What has happened to this game? Every advert I've had to sit through today has been unskippable. I don't mean I've had to sit through long adverts, I mean there is actually no end to the advert. They're all interactive, which makes you think you're going to see an X at some point. But no, the only navigation on screen takes you to the app store, giving you no choice but to exit the game and restart. Surely its important to you to vet the content you're hosting.
