DO NOT USE PAYSEND for any important or time-sensitive transfers. The risk of your money getting stuck in limbo is simply not worth the convenience or any small fee savings. When things work, Paysend might be fine. But when something goes wrong, you'll find yourself with money stuck in limbo, unhelpful customer service, and no clear path to resolution. That's an unacceptable risk for a financial services company. They keep saying they are monitoring my issue but they never provide me an update.

The AI used on the app needs humans. My transaction was found to have been delivered, but only after I tried to see if the money had arrived in time. With no message confirming what was a time vital amount going to a friend. On asking a question, I was given options that quickly disappeared and codes that couldn't be entered. It seemed the system had gone mad. After several hours of stress and worry, I found the money had arrived a few minutes after being sent and cancelled the new transaction.

The system is a bit awkward the first time when using Open Banking version. The PayPal route worked better. It went wrong a couple of times and I couldn't just cancel and start again. But it does work once you get used to it and I sent money from UK to Azerbaijan. So overall pretty good and quick. Just needs a little more guidance through the minimalist interface.
